There website www.skymovies.com has not been updated, by the 28th of each month they used to have a list or page for the next month movies, they dont have aprils yet so i assume they are changing the website aswell? maybe in BETA?.

You really think so?

As far as I know, Sky had PVR's with partitioned hard drives before any PVR/VOD was readily available on cable. This would lead me to believe that Sky had content uploaRAB in mind quite a while ago, as would VM with VOD.

Just down to release dates.

Anyway - I don't think Anytime was launched to compete with VM's VOD, this is just a small application to go with the full blown VOD that will hopefully be here in 2008.

Personally I think this is a good move. I'm always going on about quality over quantity.

How many customers moan about the endless repeats.

Cutting down the channels and broadcasting times on some channels will in effect increase the quality IMO. I think the channels being split in to genre is a great idea myself.

Managing 10 movie channels can't be easy. Even with Sky's huge library there are bound to be certain downsides. It's not like new releases are available on a daily basis, you don't get that even with DVD.
