i keep on having sharp pains in my chest when i breathe?

I have been having sharp chest pains when I breathe , I have being to the doctors , hospital everywhere and they don't have an answer for my problem I even had an ex-ray and they came up with nothing. this had being going on for four years and i am getting worried as I don't know if it is anything serious.
