i keep hearing anoying spam phrases. Such as you have won such and such.?

Ok, i know we all get those adds at some point while searching on the web, but when i leave my computer idle with not internet explorer on or firefox operating. Then i hear the phrase out of no where. Should i factory reset my computer? or is there a way to get this sound off my computer?
