I just went to see the new batman movie today

Taking inflation into account, it's the fasting grossing film in history. Ticket prices keep going up so it's hard to compare films from even five - ten years ago, but it's proving to be a mega-popular film. I think the death of Heath Ledger has given the film even more appeal.

Well when you see trailers that are 90% Joker and 10% Batman, it's hard not to argue they're capitalising on his death.

That's Hollywood for ya.

I quite liked Frankie Boyle's gag on Mock the Week last week.

When asked for "Lines You'd Never Hear in a Movie" his answer was:

"What's that Joker? You'll be back? I don't f***ing think so!"

Yeah and what was the other one he said "Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Whatever it is it's heading straight for the twin towers" or something like that. The audience were not sure what to do. He is a great comic though. Hope to see him live. :D
