i just want to scroll again...?

I recently took my laptop in for repairs and now the track pad doesn't work as it did before. I can't figure out how to set the middle mouse button to scroll through pages. If anyone can spell it out for me I'd really appreciate it because all I've been able to find is pointer options. I have an acer aspire
