I just realized I have a good litmus test for if a poster is worth my time...

lol... NO. Downplaying logical failings is NOT "sticking to principles". It's the same type of "towing the line regardless of circumstance" that Emfuser was ranting about hypocritically.

Even without a political party capable of accomplishing anything, there are plenty of libertarians in the forum who have displayed EXACTLY the same kind of unsupported intransigence when their viewpoints are challenged that underlies the behavior of the hyperpartisan Dems or hyperpartisan Repubs. They may not have a political party, but they have the hyperpartisan minRABet all the same.

He votes against the bill. What more do you want? If every politician put in some pork for their own constituents "just in case" but then voted against the bill like Ron Paul does, then the bill wouldn't pass. The only thing that spenRAB the money is the bill that gets passed. If you don't like how that turns out, try voting for a representative that will vote against the bill like Ron Paul does.

His position is both logical and consistant.

You mean when Jas0n pussied out of the debate on a technicality that was explicitly forbidden by the agreed-upon rules, but that didn't matter since the judging held me to some "rules" made up after the debate started that no one ever agreed to.lulz

And you still haven't.

I said that intransigence in the face of belief-failings which a person refuses to explain is the same mentality that makes hyperpartisans worthless to hold discussions with.

Link to said 'logical failings"?

You're still missing the point. We don't 'tow the line.' For example, I have my own disagreements with Rand, Rotrabroadard, Mises, Hayek, et al. I've voiced them before. You won't hear a partisan voice disagreements with their party. The Iraq War was bad under Bush, but good under Obama, for example.

You conflating partisanship with consistency is pretty stupid.

No, dickhead. I mean Emfuser, in all his Ayn Rand fanboi-ness. His hold on to his Rand-based ideology is as bad as any of the hyperpartisans in DIAC.

Also I am on my phone which blows to try to type on due to auto correcting worRAB like ass into rat, but my list of people who I respect their opinion would be much longer than the list of those who I do not.

I would have to say though

Rotrabroadard , dylith, Tom, emfuser, simius, mover and a couple others would be at the top of the list

I bet Codex or I could write a computer program to replace you. Your responses are on que and have consistant arguments.

Just a few randoms, some if/thens and maybe a Select/Case... yep.

What the fuck does that have to do with a guy giving away government subsidies to a few select businesses at the same time that he says he hates government interfering with the market and that government should NOT "pick winners" with subsidies?

The spending bills in which he himself is responsible for directing government subsidies to select companies.

Your behavior here isn't awfully similar to partisans at all..... I rest my case.

Translation: I don't know what the fuck you're talking about but I don't want to admit it.

Free market does not mean unregulated. I gave you two examples and have yet to read a response to show that these items bought on the open market are unregulated.
