I just planted my 2009 Summer 'Vegetable Garden' yesterday.?

And we are in a 3 day mini Heat Wave currently from 90 to 95 degrees.
It is 92 degrees now outside on my Weather Gauge at 3:30........

I noticed that my Squash and Bell Pepper plants are kinda getting --> Wilting Leaves on them from the SUN Ray's Heat.
Yes, I Watered them all very very good last night, knowing we were going to have a Hot day today.

But, will my 4 inch high baby Bell Pepper and Squash Plants be alright....having partially wilted Leaves??
The Soil is still on the Damp side, but still I am nervous.

And tomorrow, Monday the 20th its suppose to be 94 degrees here in San Jose, Calif and I wont be here to keep an eye on my young Seedling Plants. I'll be at work.

Any advice anyone?? : )
 
One thing you can do is give it some water before you leave, and if you have any, put some miracle grow. Although the miracle grow cannot stop the heat, it can still give the plant the nutrients it needs to survive.

After you get home from work, if you plants look wilted, give it some water. But not too much =)
I live in San Antonio, Texas, and here usually during the summer its in the 90s. Normally what I try to do is water my plants in the morning once, and once in the afternoon. But, if you choose to water your plant only once daily, water it in the afternoon. Watering in the afternoon helps the plant recover from all the lost water during the day.
