I just bought a new bike about 3 days ago. I'm completely new to the idea of gears on my bike, but I noticed it was set to seven. I set it to 2 (It was about as far as the gear would go, it wouldn't turn any farther) and as soon as I started pedaling again I hear this loud pop and I stumbled forward.
Ever since then though, I've been careful and switching only one gear at a time, but I do notice that going from 6th to 7th gear doesn't feel really smooth and sometimes it doesn't even feel like it switched gears at all. Is there anyway I should check and fix this?
