I got a new iPod Touch yesterday and today I tried putting all my songs on it. I plugged it in and it says, 'The iPod, "iPod touch" cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.1 or later. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes.' So when I download the new iTunes, it says it can't download it because I need Mac OS X 10.5. I tried to download that but it says there is no new software update. What do I do? I called Apple but they are closed.
Please help! Thank youu
Mmkay I just restarted my computer and downloaded iTunes again, and when it was done, I clicked the Install button and this window came up again,
'Couldn't open "Install iTunes.pkg". This package type requires Mac OS X 10.5.'
Oh by the way, I'm on an iBook G4 and its really old so I was thinking maybe since I have the newest iPod Touch, it just simply won't work on here because I need Mac OS X 10.5. Could that be the case?
