I just got a new IMAC...question about software.?

I just bought a new i-mac, and because of the price (over $2,000.00) I didn't get anything extra except for the extended warranty. Now I'm looking into getting software to do articles (like newspaper articles, or magazines) that I can add photos, and write articles for work.

Does anyone know of any software that I need to do this kind of stuff, or is there a download site that I can go to? Please let me know. Thank you, and any help would do...Armyn
 
TextEdit would be your best option. TextEdit is including in your iMac. If you want something with more options, you can download OpenOffice for free at OpenOffice.org.
