I just dumper a jar of salsa on my carpet?

I just accidently dumped like 3/4s of a jar of salsa on my carpet. I've used 4 bowls of hot water, bleach, HP, and carpet stain remover on it. I'm not so much worried about the stain, it's just that it stinks really bad. Is there anyway to get the smell out?
sorry, but this kind of something I need to do unexpensively and quickly. Why was bleach a bad idea?
Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure it's attached to the floor!

the bleach was the worst idea!! have a pro clean the carpet & padding.

Just roll the carpet up take it outside and the smell will be gone.

Here are some other things to try - sprinkle baking soda on it - it could absorb the odors, vacuum it up. Also you could try products they sell at the pet store (or prob. even Walmart) that absorb pet odors (like urine). Bleach won't get the smell out - it could just permanently change the color of your carpeting. You could also try vinegar - although you have to put up with that smell for awhile.
