Well, since you asked REALLY nicely (and you did, and I appreciate that), I'll play nice, or at least try to from now on. I guess I wasn't considering how upset my words on a computer screen were making people like you. If people gave me more input to what I wrote online, I WOULD watch what I say, but the harsh reality is that half the time no one even bothers to write a response to my posts (which is kind of depressing, I must admit, not being popular like some posters here), so I therefore often assume no one listens to what I have to say anyway, let alone gets upset over it. But seeing as how you seem really angered over what I have written previously especially, I'll keep your words in mind. Is that okay with you? Please let me know. I love getting responses, but usually don't, thus my apathy towards the content of what I put out there.
I go on and on about obscure after obscure topic and no one responds to that, or even bothers to write a reply to all my words. Where is people's passion there? What, obscure animation doesn't deserve love too?
I write two words in a negative context about a children's television show, and all hell breaks loose.
I wouldn't worry too much about me if I were you. I learned my lesson a day or two ago, whenever it was that this discussion happened (I don't even remember if it was yesterday or the day before). (been too busy with my life to pay attention to forums much lately...sorry).
But honestly, try not to take what I or anyone else on the web says so seriously, even if it is for the purpose of debate. It's better for your psychological health. If a person takes everything they read online at face value, they will invariably become stressed like I often feel when I read some of the rude things people write online.
For the record, I don't like the Sponge, and my attitude isn't going to change just because people don't agree with me.
But also for the record, I don't not like Nickelodeon. Quite the contrary. I support their better and older content. I grew up on it as a kid like many people, and I many of the shows they've done, such as Rocko, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, Are you afraid of the dark, You Can't Do That on Television, The Angry Beavers, Invader ZIM, The Fairly Odd Parents, and more lately Avatar, Danny Phantom, and the Mighty B. But frankly, the truth about Nickelodeon is that if it weren't for the success of Spongebob, and their obsession with it's high ratings, there would probably be a larger variety of shows on Nickelodeon. Yes, no? Anyone care to continue this discussion as opposed to just lingering on the "Spongebob ****s" controversy? (see I even censored myself, which is something I hate doing). Why do I censor myself? Because I care about people like you...Ain't that ironic.
