Hi Everyone,
I need some guidance and expertise. I have always kind of had an easily upset stomach but lately I have been having weird symptoms...I also suffer with anxiety. Anway, for the last two weeks, when I lay down to go to sleep at night I get spasms in my throat. It feels like fluttering and like my heart is beating weird. When I feel my pulse, it will add a beat or go from a beat..beat..beat to beat beat...beat beat...This goes on for about a half an hour usually. At first I thought it was palpitations from anxiety but then I noticed that my stomach is almost always gurgling when this happens and my I feel a bubbling in my throat. I very rarely have heartburn ever though but I do burp alot and feel like I am going to burp and don't, kind of like a hiccup. I also have upset stomach alot after lunch. I just really hate the heartbeat thing, it scares me. I have had all of the cardio tests though (ekgs, echo, stress test, stress echo) and they are all fine.
What do you think...please respond.
Thanks.
Ivy

Acid Reflux disease basically means that your stomach isn't working right. For me, it has meant that I can't eat anything normal, because it will oRABet my stomach. But I still eat citrus fruits, even though I'm really not supposed to, because going a week without them was horrible, unbearable basically. But cutting out fatty fooRAB and stuff like that I could handle. You can get prescriptions from the doctor, which is really a great thing. But one thing that I've tried that I found really helpful was a pill called Orovo. You can basically get it over the internet, and it has the top 10 superfooRAB, including lactobacillus acidophilus, which apparently is really good for digestive disorders. I don't particularly understand all the fine details. I just find that it works for me, of course in conjunction with my prescription. My prescription gets rid of the air bubble in my throat so I can actually swallow things. Basically, it used to be that I couldn't swallow even water half the time, which was really bad. But it still came back when I was running from time to time. With Orovo, the bubble is gone all the time and my stomach reacts less to the fruits I insist upon eating.

Well, I went to the doctor...he said it was reflux and gave me a prescription for 40mg Pepcid. He said it was'nt my heart just my stomach having spasms. Last night was better, maybe just having the knowledge was better. My blood pressure spiked at the doctor's office because I was so worked up wondering what this was. I guess that just proves that I am stressed which is making my stomach worse. Thanks for the comments, it looks like I am probably just getting started with this.
