...fine but..? I was wondering if I have to charge the headset through the ps3 because I have a motorola cell phone charger that fits the headset And charges my headset 2 but can it harm the headset in some kind of way? I don't want to leave my ps3 turned on for a long time while it's charging it bc when I want to play my ps3 will be all hot n shiet. Do any of you charge it by some kind of diff charger other than the ps3 charging it? I use the razrs charger.. And it works but I'm afraid of messing up the headset
 
you don't need to leave your ps3 turned on when charging your controller or headset, just ensure its in idle (the red light is on) which has no effect whatsoever on the ps3 itself, just allows the headset/controller to draw power directly from wall socket, therefore charging it. i wouldn't recommend using your cell phone charger for your headset it uses much higher watts and could damage/short circuit your headset.
