how am I supposed to reply to that? mention all of the hardware superiorities of the openmoko? the features missing from the iphone that other cheaper devices have had for YEARS?

Go ahead and spend $656 on an iPhone. It's not my money. I'm sure it'll function perfectly well as an overpriced and underequipped piece of jewelry. But it is NOT the second coming of Christ.

Yeah, I blew through the batteries, that's why I'm currently tethered getting close to 1Mbps.

But as I said before, I'll never be a big enough failure to want to be a wedding photographer.

The RAZR did not start selling well until it dropped considerably in price. It was regarded as an exclusive "fashion phone" upon its initial release.

no it sold very well and didn't drop in price for quite a while, and even then it didn't drop to under 200 till long after the black version was available and other carriers had it.
