I just bought a used Sanyo 3 Disc Player with 2 Speakers Model AWM2400...

...with 2 speakers? I hooked up the 2 speakers but only get static. I have a very thin black wire with 2 bare ends but don't know where it goes? Do I need an outside antenna?
