i just bought a jinlun 125-11 cruser and i havent a clue how to work the gear...

...changes on this bike help? i had it out the day. i am new to bikes. i dont have a owners manuel i cant get it over 40 mph i must not be working the gears right as this bike should do 65 mph. what are the gear positions

sounds like you should not be riding if you need to ask this . get some TRAINING before you hurt yourself !

normally its 1 down the rest up...first 1 down,2 second is up past nutral ,3rd up,4th up,5th up.....thats it.
