adjust the front and rear ....? I installed a JVC Stereo in my 1992 Ford Bronco. It doesn't sound right. Adjusting the front and rear balance: all to the rear speakers i can still hear sound in the front left speaker, all to front only the front left speaker works. And in the even balance>Front/rear,every speaker works except the front right. I followed the color coded wires it exampled in the installation manual. I used tube crimps all around. What might be the problem? Any Help would be Grateful.

The wires from the back of the unit to the speakers might be mismatched. You might want to run new speaker wires to your speakers so that you know they are right.

not sure what directions you followed but here are the color codes coming out of your dash

well i just got done with a bad jvc car stereo a couple days ago. i think that the speaker wires are hooked up wrong, also the color coded wire diagrams they show in the manuals are just for example, a lot of cars have different colored wires. did you buy the correct universal wiring harness? if so then just match the wires up to the wire harness that came with your new stereo, the colors may be darker or lighter on each harness but make sure that the wires with the stripes are connected with the striped wires. i would also press the reset button on your new stereo, it should be under the removable face plate. good luck!!
