i hot debate in the churches in my area...?

Water to wine. The Bible mentions Jesus turning water to wine. But it also has many verses that go against the idea of drinking.
However, the debate is this:
Some say that Jesus didnt turn it into 'wine'. more like 'grapejuice'.
Others state, the Bible isnt against drinking, just getting drunk.

what are yoru references and thoughts on the topic?
 
I'm an atheist, so I don't know the exact Biblical details, but I think the general warning is against alcohol abuse: in moderation, alcohol is just fine. In fact, given the quality of water at the time, it was the considerably better option.

All things in moderation, and all that.
 
The bible doesn't say anything against drinking. It only says that getting drunk is sinful. As far as the wine, there were various levels of alcohol and fermentation.
