Even though I won't buy one because I refuse to switch to ATTingular, I hope it is a wild success and forces Verizon and other companies to stop their practice of locking down phones and forcing shitty ringtone/music/application services on their users.

Let the phone manufacturers and software companies do what they do best in designing the best phones and applications they can and worry about improving and competing on network quality, features, and price.
