i hit my head hard now i have sharp pains?

today i hit my head on the edge of a window, i hit my head on the right side, and that was about 7 hours ago, and for the past couple hours i been getting sharp pains in my head, in the area that i hit, i dont kno if i could have a brain injury or what, but im scared, does anyone know anything about this or what i should do, thanks
