I hit a car

I was riding my bike home from work when this car came at me really fast, so I had no choice but to hit it.

I immediately got off my bike, without thinking even, to see if the driver was okay. Everyone was fine except I think I hit the car too hard because my bike was bent, and I may have gotten off the bike too fast because I got all scraped up.

The right side of my body is pretty sore, but otherwise I think I'm okay, my right leg got pretty scraped but nothing a shower and hydrogen peroxide won't fix. I was having a pretty shitty day/week prior to this, so it just made me laugh because it was almost too perfectly rotten to top it off.

Good thinking. It's not like you might have a freak blood clot in your leg in the middle of the night and wake up to find it dead and rotting at the hip, and have to have it amputated...

In a strange twist of events, I think I probably did more damage to the car than damage was done to my shitty bike, even though for all intents and purposes my bike was totaled.



I was being sarcastic. Physics also dictates that I had no choice but to get off my bike immediately and violently.
