The car was parked illegally in the bike lane. Traffic was to the left, and I slowed down as much as I could but it wasn't enough. I fell on the trunk, and my bike scratched the rear view mirror very slightly. I was alright and thought I didn't have time to b.s. with some inconsiderate driver. My boss told me I should have filed a report because I would have been able to collect damages. But, by me leaving, the driver could collect from me instead.
