I meant in my post that he will be the top scorer by the time that game comes around, which is likely, but not definite. We'll see how it pans out, but he's odds-on to score at least two in the easy group F.
 
Nesta is 30, Cannavaro is 33...that's getting pretty old by footballers standards. :P
You guys still have one of the soundest defences in the world, but you can't defend for 90 minutes vs Brazil or England.
 
this is why i quite fancy them , for a whole host of cultural reasons, ..., its like Spain is where the curent zeitgeist arts, tech, financial etc is, ..., so now they have the right mindset, ..., just like 66 with 'swinging london' etc, ..., its a dumb argument i know but it appeals to my sense of something or the other
 
We would pretty much have to shock the world again with a win over Czech and Ghana. We have a good chance of finishing first then. Otherwise, we get out 2nd and take it in the ass from Brazil by god knows how much barring the aformentioned Keller soul sell.
 
Those weren't our best American players. Our outfield was full of guys who weren't even good for their own teams in MLB much less the best we had.

i actually like american football very much - but only the game as such!

To market the whole thing as this big NFL-franchise aint really my cup of tea...they all gotta have catchy english name like "seadevils" and everything is just really a bad copy of the american NFL

I'd like to go watch a game but as long as it's all plasticed-USed-out, all about image and this big "show" effect in general...that fits for the US NFL, but in germany it doesn't belong.
so yeah, i like to watch the super bowl once a year and when i lived in the US iw as way into madden and everything, but NFL europe just doesn't feel right, like a bad rip-off, all commercialized and no sport
