I heard on the radio today from an economist ?

he had already predicted the current collapse of the financial institutions. Now he is saying that the fix will only last about three weeks then the economy will spiral out of control which will mark the beginning of final financial ruin. He also said Inflation will render the US dollar worthless.
Does anyone else know more about this?
 
Kevin Phillips, author of "The Perils and Politics of Radical Religion, Oil and Borrowed Money in the 21st Century" and "Bad Money" pretty much says the same thing. 20-30% declines in the real estate market, commodity inflation, collapsing dollar and 2 decades to work through this. Sounds plausible just about now.
 
Yeah, a lot of people could predict that to happen. The economy's not so healthy right now... but then again, Dr Batra incorrectly predicted a major depression in 1990, but that didn't happen...
