It's a broken very old car that doesn't run and I want to know a way I can get rid of it but make some money off it to help me get my own car.

Help appreciated.
 
Not true at all. But there is a cash for clunkers program that will give you a tax rebate for trading in your old car.

There are a lot of string attached but if you qualify it could get you as much as $4500 in tax rebates when you file your IRS tax refund.
