Fourth grade teacher, Miss Smith, decided it was time to introduce her class to a very simple level of Politics.
"Class" she asked, "if you had been old enough during this past presidential election, please raise your hand if you believe you would have voted for Barack Obama."
With that, 17 students out of her class of 20 quickly raised their hands. Miss Smith noticed that little Johnny was one of the 3 students who did not raise their hand.
Curious, she asked Johnny why he wouldn't have voted for Obama. "Well," little Johnny replied, "my mom is a Republican, and so is my dad. Since I respect and admire both of them, I figure it would be best to follow their decisions."
With a look admonishing his answer, Miss Smith continued, "Now, Johnny, while it's nice to compliment your parents like you just did, I think you should learn to stand on your own two feet and make your decisions solely on what you believe. Afterall, what if your mom was a moron, and your father was an idiot -- how would you have voted then?"
"Simple," little Johnny smirked, "I would have raised my hand 5 minutes ago!"
KELLAN: This is not my joke to say whether or not you can use it -- I heard it the same way you are hearing it, and just passing it along .
KYOKU44 : was not intended to be offensive - lots of other nice people have jokes made about them since it comes with being famous -- I respect the President, too.
