I hear people complaining about the second Twilight book?

That it is not as good as the first one?? Is this true, and if so... why?

tht is a lie... i found the second one just as good even better even though edward was a bit a of a jerk and this let bella and jacob get close!!!

edward leaving bella was bad, but in the end all he wated to do was make her safe, because he blames himself for everything.

NM is actually my favorite Twilight book... it's probably because Edward leaves, and it's more Jake than Ed.

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ IT:

It wasn't as good, in my opinion, because Edward bails on Bella. He is absent for most of the book. She starts spending a ton of time with Jacob. He falls for her and acts like an ass and she continues her friendship with him. The second book made me HATE Jacob. He was such an all - out jerk.
