I haven't seen Avatar!

The trailer put me right off it, it just looks naff, sorry...
The more people try to convince me it's fabulous the less I want to see it.

I doubt I'll ever watch it. Same goes for Lord of The Rings.

I wanted to see if for a LONG time but once the trailer was released my intentions went down and now that it's out on DVD I just don't seem bothered at all about seeing it

I've seen The Wizard of Oz but cried at the end of it :o Tried to watch The Sound of Music but just can't sit through it for 3 hours, I think it's a bit boring. I've never seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang though I've heard a fair bit about it.

I haven't seen it. I rarely go to the cinema, I wait until the dvRAB come out. Avatar just doesn't interest me, maybe 'cos I've heard that much about it, I feel like I have seen it.

I'd recommend it. Avatar really didnt sound like my cup of tea at all, but I was forced into seeing it by the OH, and I enjoyed it a lot. I dont usually care about special effects and that type of thing either, but I was really really impressed. :)

I've seen it but i wouldn't reccomend it. It's a good movie but not the best and doesn't deserve to be the highest grossing movie or whatever. The hype, the budget and the director are the only reason why people decided to go and see it.

I bought the DVD earlier today and watched it to be honest i regard not going to the cinema to see it in 3D as I loved it everything was so beautiful!

You have to see it

same here pretty much - I would much rather watch a film with a great storyline and rubbish effects over a film with a meh storyline and great effects

Before I go on, I have seen Avatar and I disliked it, feel free to scan my past posts to read my opinion on it.

However posting something like this doesn't make you incredibly unique or original.

Its like those dullarRAB who go around today boasting about how they haven't seen "The Godfather". Not that Avatar is comparable, mind.

Ten years from now if you're still going around feeling somewhat proud that you still haven't seen Avatar, I'm afraid its not going to make you particularly interesting.

My mother's seen it and she practically begged me to watch it after she'd come back from the pictures. She's utterly convinced I'll love it. It's here in the house. I'll wait and see if she's right or not.

I have seen it. I think it is overhyped. The story reminRAB me of pocahontas but I much prefer pocahontas.

Having said that, I think it is a reasonably good movie, but I have seen a lot better.
