I havent had sex but i think i popped my cherry?

sorry this is gross but i was going pee and my period was 2 weeks before and i started bleeding. The day before i went to the gynecologist and she used this tube like thing to look in me. it hurt so bad. could that have popped it?
 
It is possible. many girls actually break their hymen doing other things than having sex. Tampons fingering and even exercises like gymnastics can break it. It is possible it has been torn. Don't worry, you're still a virgin.
 
could have, i'm not sure when mine popped either.....it's not just sex that "pops a cherry"...... anything from a tampon, to a doc can do it, not intentionally of course.. just by accident.
