i have white smoke from my car and keep having to keep filling my coolant up every 2...

you either have a head gasket cracked or a head with a crack in it. that is allowing your coolant to enter your cylinders. that is why you have white smoke and your heater is not working right

if you are loosing coolant and have white smoke (steam) then you most likely have a blown head gasket... call around and find a shop that will do a block test for cheap... and if that is the case then you need to get it fixed... unsafe to drive

the white smoke and having to fill the coolant is a sign of a bad head gasket..
and yes they are connected..
when the coolant gets low there is not enough coolant for the water pump to push the coolant thur the heating system there for no heat.
