problem. Any suggestions? During the winter months I seem to suffer from extreme condensation - with water literally running down my lounge wall.
The problem improves when I clear the stone guttering that is attached to the outside of my flat, (my lounge is upstairs.)
But I am now at a loss as this improves but doesn't solve the problem completely.
I am fairly sure that it is condensation as it occurs when the flat is hot — not when it rains.
People have suggested dehumidifiers and resealing the guttering. Prepared to do both, just need help with what my next step should be.

it is water going under your shingles and coming down the walls. it sounds like you lve in a cold climate. if you do... your gutters are filling up... freezing...and the ice is backing up under the shingles to the point it gets inside....
funny thing is... the actual leak may be ten ft or more from where you see the leak.
KEEP THOSE GUTTERS CLEANED OUT!

HAVE IT LOOKED AT NEXT SPRING OR WHEN ITS A GOOD TIME
. but sooner is better than later. all that water will destroy your house from the inside out and give you a mold and possible bug problem like you wouldnt believe.
