I have now seen the movie Kingdom of Heaven, directed by Ridley Scott, released in 2005 and starring Orlando Bloom and Eva Green more times than I would care to mention. The power of the message behind the film and the historical beauty of some of the characters, especially when you look into the background of their real selves is stunning. I most like the character King Baldwin IV, whose terrible affliction with leprosy really hit me deeply. I also enjoyed the character of his elder sister Princess Sibylla, though not so much in the theatrical version without the director's cut storyline of her son contracting her brother's disease. I just want someone to tell me their view on what I feel was a very touching movie. Can anyone help me?
