i have tried to get this guys attention in various ways.should i read a poem

with his name in it to notice me? i like this guy whom i had a class with last semester so I would do the following things to get him to notice me and talk to me
- sit behind him, try and listen in to his conversations, find out stuff about him, and then talk to my friend loud enough about things that he liked or did so he would hear.

-i got a friend to ask what he thinks of me and he said i seemed nice but didnt know my name so i came to class the next day and had my friend keep saying my name really loud so he would know my name

-he took spring classes so sometimes i would plan to run in to him and pass him in the hallways when no one was around, sit where he would normally be or sit in the hallway by his class.

I thought i would have gotten his attention by now but it didnt seem to work. would you guys have noticed a girl by now if she did this.

should i try and be around him and read a poem out loud with his name in it and say its my favourite verse or something-maybe this will work.

I thought I had done enough to grab his attention. anything else i can do besides talk to him
 
What if he asks you the name of the poem & you are the 1 who wrote it ,, that would look a bit freaky but then say you like da name :L
 
omg, ur going at it to strong gurly. a gurl is doing that to me now and its scaring the crap out of me. ur trying way to hard. just ask him out somewhere. if he says ur nice then he wouldnt mind dating u. just ask him out... although u could have possibly, maybe, ruined ur chances with that poem... he may think ur obsessed.
 
I don't think that you should try reading a poem with his name in it, I mean that could end up just freaking him out if he hardly knows your name and you have a poem about him, you know? Sadly I don't think that guys react to pretty poetry the way girls do... But i think your safest bet is to just talk to him. Guys don't really care as long as you give them attention
