i have tried placing my photo into photoshop,but it won't accept the format?

There is a application that does image conversions very well. Irfanview is the app. To top it off it is shareware and if you need to do image conversions often, I would pay the asking price. It being shareware it is usable even when the trial period is over, but I would purchase it if were you.

Firstly, what format is it presently in and how are you trying to 'place it' by opening PHotoshop and then trying to open it, or are you copying and pasting. If the latter, you should paste as new image and there should be no problem. If you are trying to open, what exactly is the message you are getting. If you are more specific perhaps you can get more definitive help.

What format is the file? Try saving it in a different format before importing it.
