I have tried 3 different universal remotes to conect to my Panasonic TC-3232C TV it fails. Is it the Infrared?

the specific model is a Panasonic Viera TC-3232C LCD TV, the remotes were two philips and one rca. They don't create anyreaction on tv, it was a display at a store.
