Probably the wrong flywheel was put on the truck which sucks big time for you. I feel you there. Try to find the starter that matches the year of the engine that the flywheel was install from or if there are shims that were supposed to be installed at installation you may have to do that. Talk to the person that did the work and add me as a contact or contact me if you can't figure it out.
