* Dogs love everyone. There is something more fulfilling about earning the love of a more discriminating animal.
* Cats are far more self-sufficient. Cats keep themselves clean. They don't smell. Cats are cuddlier.
* Cats would NEVER eat their own poop and they don't druel all over the place. They don't have to be trained where to go to the bathroom. They don't chew apart everything in your house.
* They are graceful and amazing to watch. My cat always walks across the tiny rail on the loft. Would she fall? Never! If she did she'd probably make a perfect landing anyways. I'd like to see a dog do that.
* Cats are FULL of personality and every one is so unique. My two cats are like yin and yang. One is a ham who follows me all around the house, plays fetch and loves to chase me. I just start running and he bounds right after me all through the house. When I stop the game he gives me a chirp, saying please continue I'm not finished playing. My other one is way to sophisticated for that, but she is a lovely, beautiful girl and melts to pudding when she is around my husband.
* Cats are more expressive. I can read what they are communicating in every nuance of my cats meows. Their ears and tail clearly displays their emotions.
