I have to debate that canadians are not tory-touched liberals, what historical...

...evidence can i use? I will have to debate the canadians are not tory-touched liberals, and i will have to use historical evidence to defend my side. Historicaly what have canadians done that make them too left wind to be tory touched liberals?

haha "tory-touched" liberals, definitley an American source asking the question. Up here in the Great White North we call Tories "Loyalists".

Our history isn't really "leftist" by any sense. I'm almost havign a hard time understanding the context of your question. Is it implying that we are more Liberal than our American counterparts?

You can point to a few occasions in our history. We started out alot more Conservative than the Americans (our English speaking culture comes from the Loyalists mostly). Before WW1, in fact, Canadian politicans used to point to failures of the "tax and spend" Americans. As you can see, times have certainly changed.

Maybe revise... I just don't really understand the context of your question. Look up a timeline of Canada's history maybe that'll help you out.
