I don't know what to do anymore. My in laws are starting to get to me to such an extent that I feel constantly depressed and anxious. It's a long story but basically when my husband and I dated they were blantantly just awful - they went out of their way to be outright mean, rude, and cause trouble in our relationship. His mother would use any information she would get about us to her advantage to create an awful situation that would insult, hurt, and cause so much friction. Two years into our relationship, my husband stopped talking to them for an entire year. We went ahead and got married (legally) because we knew there was no way they would be even slightly supportive of it. We went off to grad school and everything was going great - they later found out about it and BOOM freaked out, realized how much they were missing out w their obviously cruel ways...
