I have to get this out there. My parents were hippies back in the late 60's and early 70's and I kind of grew up in their ways when I was born, I grew up on all organic food without a tv, etc, and they kind of taught me their ways. I'm 15 right now and because of all that I suppose that I dress like a hippie out in public and I get put down so much. People are always saying to me things like "you're not a real hippie, that era is gone". But I must ask, what is a real hippie, and why is it that you're only aloud to be one in the 60's? :S This confuses me and pisses me off and I want to know if anyone else feels the same way. I don't do pot or anything like that, I don't vandalize, I just try to be a good person and its like people don't want me to be that. Does anyone else agree with me? We should have the freedom to dress and feel and act the way we want!
