I have never gotten a tan before. How can I get a tan outdoors?

Wear sunscreen and get outdoors a lot. The color will come.

Don't get weak sunscreen to make you tan faster--it doesn't work that way. If you have pale skin you could sunburn in very little time--and that won't look good.
 
Not a tanning salon. I am very pale and have never gotten a tan. A friend who is a redhead got her first tan last summer! So I know it can be done. She spent more time outdoors..but was outside a lot her whole life. Idk. Anyways, please give me a procedure on how to do this!!
 
If you're very pale you will burn. I do not advise getting a tan because you are so pale and have a greater risk of developing skin cancer. Your friend being a red head also has a higher risk for skin cancer.
