I have this happen all the time. They can be used in future years, although not as many of the seeds will sprout. It is best to keep them in a cool, dry place. I use either the "butter" section on my refrigerator door or the bottom of the pantry for seeds I am holding over.

next year? I have many packets of seeds that I didn't use in my garden this year - Can I use them next year? They back of the packages say "Produced for 2009". How do I carry them over for next year?

Thanks

Yes as long as you keep them cool and dry! I would wrap them in a plastic bag and put them in a clean drawer
