You can get a free copy of your credit repor at annunalcreditreport.com. That will tell you your credit status.
You can buy a car for cash from a private party; they often have less expensive cars than dealerships do. Perhaps a relative has a car they're willing to sell you on some kind of payment plan.
But start with your credit report and see what it says.

I need help.I have no credit i don't think,and i'm wanting a first time car.I am wanting a little car something like a dodge avenger,mitsubishi,celica,eclipse,a little car.I might have credit but i don't know.I have had bills in my name for almost 7mos now and i have financial aid.where should i get my car?do you think i have credit?would i be better off at a used car lot?plz help!
