I have just found a NEC A-10 stereo Amp stuck in a garage for the last 25 years

(after a few months use)? I read that these amps need maintenance ,can it be saved ?
I plugged in the speakers and there was constant noise in the Phono position

get a new amp buddy
theses amps are defected and can have a short circuit and catch on fire.
wouldnt be good.
