I have just bought a 1981 Yamaha 248cc but i have no idea what model it is?

if you look on the head stock,or the engine cases,yamaha numbers start with a number and usually a letter,then a number.par example,2k4,yamaha dt175mx,1980/81,1ao,yamaha rd250,1978.4lo,yamaha rd350lc,1981,1j7,yamaha xs750
 
its a twin 248cc.
1981. thats all i have on the v5. im not sure if theres a website i can check the frame numbers with?
