i have just been charged with entering my neighbours garden and causing damage?

police say they have evidence,but they can't have as i haven't been in his garden or damaged his property.the police won't tell me what evidence they have.i live in scotland so under scottish law is this right?
the police won't tell me what time i am supposed to have done this either just the day it happened,the neighbours in question we have had trouble with since their son shot at one of our kids and got 18months probation for.they have made our lives hell with unfounded complaints against us.even police agree they may be out to get us now but that doesn't help with this particular complaint.
 
the uk is pretty much a totalitarian state where all rights are suspended until further notice, pretty much where the us is heading.
they can probably throw you in the london tower and castrate you for this heiness crime.
