...an engine stand? to replace some of the parts like timing chain and other seals, gaskets and sensors that are a pain to get to while the new engine is out, my question is how much dose my engine weigh and how much should the work load of the engine stand be or where i can fine the info for it my Cavalier is a 99 2.2L ecotec engine well i was told it is a ecotech engine but i know that it is a 2.2L

Any standard engine stand purchased at local outlet will suffice. Engine stands are regulated by government standards and all of them are capable of holding an engine that small. The only worries are with the bigger engines like the straight 8ts and v-10's and bigger.

dude, just go ahead and push it to the max and make it work a 1500lbs. load. the engine shouldnt weigh more than 350 to 400. so go ahead. srry but i cant help with the rest
