Lately, Hondas have been seeming to suck. all of their cars are having transmision problems. except civic, crv and element. They have extended the warranty on those transmissions to 107,000 miles. So i think you should be in luck. iam not sure on how to transfer km to miles but it should be under 107,000 miles.

...spending $3.7k for it? Hi, I have a 2000 Honda Odyssey. The transmission jumps back to previous gear on acceleration. It is still driving, but I am not sure how long it will last before it is totally gone. The dealer says the parts have a manufacturer's defect and need to be replaced. My share of cost $3700 (Honda pays the other half of the $8K total cost). My mileage is very low, only 107,000 km. Warranty was expired. Is it worth the money to fix it? Any idea on my best options. Many thanks.

honda is a good car. look at it this way can you replace it and get the same quality car for $3700.00. I have an 04 ford I wanted to trade and I was 0ffered $3000.00 for it on a trade to 08 just last week<
