i have had my tropical fish tank set up for nearly 3 years now,?

why when i add small fish do they die eg platy .but if i add something bigger eg xl gourami they survive fine ? i have a few fish in there it is a 190L tank there is 3 xl gourami 4"l ong,1 angelfish 5", 3 clown loach from 2" to 5" ,3 small albino catfish 2 neon tetra 1 silver fin tetra and now 1 black male platy
i test the water every other week and it is fine every time ,it is as clear as tap water
 
your tank is overstocked. the angel fish will beat the hell out of the smaller fish.

clown loaches get up to 2 ft. and need to get out of that tank. what are your water readings? get an API test kit. is the tank cycled?
